Make a Donation for School Bus

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Shekinah Foundation.

We, the Shekinah Foundation, an organization working for the cause of physically challenged, orphans and destitute children since 1992 in the areas of education, training, rehabilitation, awareness generation and empowerment programmes, are pleased to write this communication to you all.

We are also pleased to inform you that, this organization is being run by the challenged persons, the founder Mr. Ch. Ishakar, a physically challenged, has been bestowed with National Award from the then President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in recognition of his outstanding performance as Role Model of disabled persons of our country, STATE AWARD by Govt of A.P. and Many more awards.

As you are aware that, As part of the mission and vision of the organization we are running a School-cum-Rehabilitation Centre for children with disabilities and orphans at 4-3-2, Hayathnagar (Old Road), Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy District, Andhra Pradesh, India providing free education, food, accommodation and rehabilitation services.

We would like to inform you that, we are in need of a School Bus to carry the children with mental retardation from their respective homes to the foundation and to drop them after the school hours daily. As so many parents, whose children are mentally retarded, have been requesting Shekinah Foundation to arrange transportation for their special children in order to send them for day schooling. There are number of mentally retarded children waiting to receive our services, but due to this transportation problem we are unable to serve them. As there is a great need for providing services to the persons with mental retardation and also Keeping in view the need and requests of the parents, we are planning to purchase a School Bus (Swaraj Mazda 24+1 seater Mini Bus). The estimated cost of the school bus is Rs. 8,75,000/- ($ 17500 US Dollars).

Therefore, we humbly request you to kindly come forward to extend your generous contribution/ donation for this immediate need to enable us to serve these children better.
